Online Classifieds Portal PleasureGo.com Signs Ad Deal With Mainstream Company

NEW YORK — Adult online classifieds service PleasureGo.com inked an advertising deal with mainstream company RingtoneBang.com.

PleasureGo.com pitches itself as an adults-only alternative to Craigslist, with a simple design that's heavy on the text and light on the graphics. Adults can post or seek jobs on the site, which offers portals for dozens of countries.

RingtoneBang.com President Paul Smith said that choosing an adult portal as an advertising partner made sense.

"Cell phone penetration in the U.S. tops 82 percent, which means that our potential customers can be found in a wide swath of demographics," he said. "If someone's actively looking for the sort of goods and services that are featured on PleasureGo.com — swing clubs, adult oriented websites, services, personals, strip clubs, web cams, items for sale, and business opportunities and services to name a few — they could also be interested in the service RingtoneBang.com offers."

PleasureGo.com founder and CEO Hank Bomstein noted that RingtoneBang.com is his company's first mainstream partner.

"What's lost on many marketers and advertisers is that our consumers have other interests and needs besides adult material," he said. "RingtoneBANG.com should be acknowledged for its foresight and progressive attitude in courting an adult audience."
